You’ve been lying down for the better part of the day for 20 years? What does that translate in terms of hours per day? 20 hours? 16?

Where are people getting that this is their interview process (or a prep book of some sort)? This afaik from the intro page is that they use this for onboarding. It’s to make sure everyone’s on the same page.

Wish has their own warehousing and inventorying as well though. It’s not a pure AliExpress wrapper. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not a fan of Wish.

Yes but you can't purchase that contract. PredictIt is not a free market betting platform with a bunch of restrictions (e.g. $850 limit per contract per person, 5000 bettor limit per contract, 10% vig on winnings, 5% vig on all cash wi

> Most countries do not have an equivalent for apps/games and so it is ultimately left to Apple to regulate. We literally have ESRB that's a whole lot less arbitrary than Apple's review system.

Yes, people from all walks of life may end up homeless but I'm tired of hearing stories of my friends being robbed at gunpoint/knifepoint or straight up assaulted for a phone and a wallet. People walk into stores and steal without

One would have been voting down on this stupid measure. SF has a child's notion of how to fix problems. Rich CEO bad? Tax companies for rich CEOs. Tenderloin full of shit? Create a whole new division of people with more taxes to clean

As an aside, their website uses a serious dark pattern to trick users into paying. Their app is purportedly for helping you reclaim your fees so it seems like adding a bank account makes sense after you input your email address. Off to the

I relented and got a portable unit for around $500. It's loud and nowhere as nice as an in-unit, but it's definitely been worth it IMO.

Doesn’t this only work when it’s done on a global scale? Otherwise I feel like it would just crater non-Chinese businesses. You’re already fighting an uphill battle when it comes to labor costs. How can your steel mill stay competitive when

That’s fair but I think it’s a different argument when you have five (5!) kids. A minivan is hardly a luxury item at that point.

Are you sure? I've used autoclaves in labs and I'd imagine it'd take longer than that to just pressurize, much less be done and out, in 15 seconds.

Yes they're moving out. I know for a fact that the complex isn't even posting all of their vacancies as my friend's now-empty unit has never been listed. I don't know how this will play out in the long term but lots of m

It’s legal for PredictIt. If FB could get some academic researchers on board I could see it happening but I guess it was more of a headache than what they wanted.

This is so ridiculous. Do you sign into your bank or trade stocks on your XBox? Where would you access important documents outside of your desktop/laptop?

I'm guessing you don't have a CPG background. It's a horribly flawed analogy as retailer can and will demand special SKUs, kick brands off of aisle all the time, demand premiums for shelving units, etc.

Sure, but what do you think would happen without Twitter? It'd be another social network like Twitter. Or it'd be split up and you'd have to manage Twitter-replacement A and B.
