Isn't this environmentally irresponsible? I thought cruise ships had a huge carbon footprint and many negative impacts.

It's wonderfully written. I'm a big fan of both Dennis Ritchie and Brian Kernighan personally. However the book was last updated in 1988 and I prefer C99+ for almost every feature it adds. If I'm going to recommend just one b

You can't rely on one tool, different ones catch different things. No one tool is best. I usually use "-Wall -Wextra -Wpedantic", the GCC static analyser "-fanalyzer", cppcheck, and Clang scan-build. That's goo

The 2022 version is not to nag users with a registration flyover for your blog post, the instant the user visits and hasn't even read the first sentence. I won't visit Medium or Substack blogs at all because of this awful pattern.

I'm amazed at the amount of people not even reading the full post and suggesting fail2ban or a different port (already done) or to setup a honeypot and generate even more bandwidth (worse)!

This discussion popped up again the other day so I collated all the research I could and came to my own conclusions. tl;dr - Risk of myopia increases with light mode. That's more important to me than any cognition or productivity savin

That's cool. I've looked at the Modus themes before but I think the light version is a bit too light for me. All-white pages are so bright they kinda hurt my eyes. Maybe I need to turn the monitor brightness down...
