About needing logins on your DMZ machine, that's not necessary if they use SSH keys to access the git user, which has no shell. You might find it easier to manage those permissions with gitolite if you want to restrict the users to jus

Cute but terrible UI. I don't want to click a bunch of tiny dots, especially on mobile. I looked at a couple and left because it's so tedious, defeating the purpose of the page. Give me a scrollable list.

I realised this myself recently. I have used Ubuntu LTS for a long time, I don't use the in-between releases. They have about the same release cadence as Debian (2ish years) so I'm usually not losing anything much by moving to Deb

Love the idea but hate the interior. This in a time where other vehicles are scaling back the amount of screens and touch nonsense and coming back to regular tactile buttons and knobs for common functions. I've driven the 300kw XC40 an

I've heard SteamOS is a/b updates of an entire filesystem, similar to Android phone OTA updates. It's discussed in one of the first two episodes of the Linux Matters podcast talking about the Steam Deck and ChimeraOS. https:

afaics this is used in Amiga accelerator cards and doubles the performance of an Amiga A4000 which ran at 25MHz. So nothing we'd really consider modern.

This is almost the same thing I say to people. To ask GPT about something and be able to determine whether its answer is false or not, you already need to be competent and knowledgeable in that topic. If you're already competent and kn

It's the human method of interacting with that integer which is the problem. Nobody is going to start saying IPv4 addresses as hex, people aren't used to base 16. "Just set your gateway to co.a8.0.fe" said nobody ever. A

To avoid the proliferation of a million different licenses, it would be better to have a single or few "No GitHub" licenses. Such a license would not be considered "open" by the OSI because it imposes onerous conditions.

Start with your NIC driver. Most I've seen don't support frame sizes over 9000ish, which I assume reflects a hardware limitation.
