Melted cheese on a cracker sounds disgusting? Sounds like a pretty normal combination to me.

That's a Kadas opening - pretty terrible but I reckon stil a lot more solid than the mighty Bongcloud!

Average bandwidth isn't a good metric of internet access. A community that has 1 home with 1Gb/s and 10 homes with 5Mb/s would have an average speed of about (1000 + (10*5))/11 = 95 Mb/s, which is accurate but misle

Ideally something with a social component. I think a lot of people retire and realise almost all their social interactions were work related. Chess is a great game, and there are often local clubs, can be played with family and friends etc.

This was a response to a comment about a potential feature as described: "Why does the recovery not just have a button called factory reset which unlinks your apple account, deletes the volume and then sets it all up like new." So

He may have served his time for fraud, but that doesn't mean he gets to keep the spoils. So would have the 60M seized, and then possibly arrested on new charges (something like tax evasion or lying to the court etc).

This is hilarious. Even when it can't find the location, the error message is funny. Putting Bernie on top of Mt.Blanc is quite good.

Yes I read both the article and the comments. I meant a data science project in terms of a project completed by data scientists. In my experience, all data scientists are accustomed to doing extensive cleaning etc.

On the whole, the UK Gov is actually quite good at digital services. Much better than any of my experiences with services offered by the US, Canada or France.

I watched The Wire with my Italian (from Italy, not Italian-American) in-laws. Even with subtitles, I'm pretty sure they missed a lot of the story.

I just did some googling and arrived at some (very rough) numbers (total population / approximate number of malls). In the U.S., there are ~2,827 people per mall. In Australia, there are ~15,337 people per mall. There are probably just

I visited the Winnipeg store 2 years ago. It was a disaster, floors half empty, random half-completed construction in between displays, virtually no employees around. 100% different than the HBC in downtown Montreal.

Same with his comments about science. It isn't necessary for everyone else to be wrong - you're often just adding more detail to the picture. PG paints it as some kind of zero-sum when it really isn't.
