You can argue that it's not the "fault" of mass transit, but anyway you don't have to plan as much for taking an Uber, giving it an advantage over the bus.

I wouldn't wanna let it probe 'rm' :D Perhaps the probing could happen in a VM / container image which would reset after each invocation.

This is supposed to be contrasted with an operator asking for the credit card digits manually, leaving room for them to scribble down the card number. The DTMF system is so that the computer receives the card number directly. Of course that

There are Teslas in many countries around the world, and autopilot is marketed as a feature in those as well. About the US train network, it's good for freight but passenger trains are slow.
