Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder. This just screams FU gas at the top of its lungs. As a rider who hates breathing diesel particulates, I love it.

Spotify were also definitely not going to bring the Android widget back after removing it. A storm of complaints and cancellations - including mine - later and they changed their minds. I found other options in the mean time; I didn't

On the topic of the old, am I the only one who found the switched behaviour of enter/shift-enter inside/outside a ``` block somewhat annoying?

The G903 is perfectly ambidextrous, but even something like an old G9X works great as well in my left hand. I have a Kensington Slimblade as well at home, works great to mix things up.

I'd recommend everyone to get used to operating the mouse with either hand. It certainly helps load balancing, and probably has other benefits too. Consider it a DR plan if you suffer a dominant hand fracture, for example.

That's well and true for people at HN, but I fully believe that the general public needs a lot more help.

Check back in a couple of decades, and you might change your opinion of how one defines "adult". Sure when I was 22 I felt as grown up and superior as anything, yet the same amount of years later I realise how little I in fact kne

That narrowed it down quite nicely.. what a harrowing policy! I find it a bit despicable in the AU when owners who are the only ones to really benefit in case of success (never seen a stock option here) say we are a startup and have to make

It's more funny because it's so often true. Just like how many people get a dashcam after a crash, organisations tend to get serious after the breach.

I was kind of trying to say I haven't seen any ads , just non-intrusive integration with other MS services, in response to the ads reply I got. Sorry that was actually rather vague and roundabout.

Hmm. In Chromium Edge, my new default browser, AFAIK the UO plugin will still work perfectly unlike in Chrome, meaning I rarely if ever see any ads. The closest thing to an ad in VSCode or for that matter Terminal would be .. I guess hints

I've been using computers religiously since I got my Vic20 at 9 or 10, after working for it for a year. Almost every time I need to change something on son's aging iPad (2012 issue, updated to latest iOS but is before cut off poin

I want talking down hill... More the 30-35 kmh nonchalantly with zero effort kind. The extra weight of the ebike system becomes a significant factor when trying to push past the cut off point manually. Speaking from experience with a Bionic

I think you're confusing ebikes with motorbikes. Ebikes are restricted to 25km/h, at least in my region. You sometimes see them going faster so you know they've been modded or aren't compliant. A lot of ebike riders are

Console logging can be useful for eg being fed into Splunk from an ECS instance. I don't do node.js so perhaps there are other ways of doing that specifically. (Works great in .net core)

On the flip side to that, with {earbuds} becoming nearly ubiquitous (Samsung Buds, etc), wearing an actual hearing aid hardly makes you stand out anymore.

Compared to the rubber "keys" of the ZX Spectrum, the C64's was akin to having a mechanical keyboard sent back from the future! The Run stop restore key combo quickly developed a bad connection though.

Yep I saw the video after my post above also, and it didn't make any sense to me either. Couldn't tell whether the N10 was completely naked during scan due to the quality of the video. Would like to see verification, and to learn

If significantly fewer people were encouraged to donate, I wonder what that would do to the pool of bone marrow donors. At least in Australia you're encouraged to sign up for this as you donate, which makes it very easy for them to run

For ATC in FSX, on a less serious note, you'd be amiss to go past Airforceproud95's work in his Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeC0ZTT8n7E ( and his coverage of the new FS: https://ww
