Turning that off was the first thing I did when I got the phone. Just checked it's still off. Cheers though!

Lol. My new flagship top of the line Galaxy phone won't let me take pictures if a face is detected now without a 3-5 second delay from when I press the shutter. If subject turns around before then, the picture is instantly taken, and I

Nice. I miss my days at the greenfield Origo/TM in 96/97/98; I had the great pleasure of working with some incredibly clued in people who have done very well for themselves since. The Norwegian community was very much at the

In Vic children are held home, except for those of essential workers and if vulnerable; school started last week. Source: I'm managing son in grade 4. They just started using Cisco WebEx to connect with AV.

Schools in Australia are closed now, not reopening since Easter break. Kinders (preschool child daycare centers) remain open, and are now free - 100% paid for by the government.

Yes, I was pleased to see the phone actually use it efficiently for caching. My desktop has 32GB and it does the same thing; a larger size is reserved for caching than on the 16GB work laptop (both Win10). I use Docker a lot which probably

Exactly . You going to compare a premium Apple device, compare it a premium Android. I believe mine is pretty much the highest end available on *any" platform - it's pretty insane. Apple has a lot of catching up to do.

As a random snapshot, my present memory usage is 9.6GB. Previous phone had 8GB, so this is part of why it's so much faster - although storage as well as CPU is also significantly better. (The regular model had 12GB which would suffice,

Buildkite is awesome. Thirded. Love the clear UI, yaml based dynamic pipelines and ease of integration. Coupled with Terraform for us.

My Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 120hz display with 240hz input sample rate. It is stunningly gorgeous, and there's simply no input lag.

Yeah the Samsung S20 Ultra barely scored a mention. My 512GB model features 16GB of memory, and a staggeringly beautiful display. Not to mention that camera.. But hey, it's Apple, so everyone is going nuts.

Yep, there's something that just screams "wake up and use your head" about that. It happened in Australia as well. Have people just lost their ability to think?

The safety rating system in iRacing makes the stakes feel very different to just loading up Mario Kart. You play with your real name, and safe driving is rewarded - to get A rated you have to treat other drivers with respect.

Had a Mazda 3 with this, although before Android Auto sadly. That input method is by far the best possible; everything is laid out so nicely in terms of using muscle memory, and the rotary knob interface just does the job. Their approach is

Bah, if riding with eg a Garmin or Wahoo it would clearly show there was no stopping at the front of the house and that should be it. If Google Fit is a bit like Samsung Health, it would probably stop an activity at the spot of the burglary
