That's the way to do it. No sugars or anything, just that great taste. I saved a huge amount of money going from pods to a manual Breville Barista, which whilst making coffee shop quality brew is also far better for the environment. Pr

Be careful with caffeine supplements such as pills and (especially) powders. Overdosing is far too easy and can be a substantial health risk, even deadly - https://www.health.com/nutrition/caffeine-powder-overdose

I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me that deadlifts is the really big one. I've been mainly focusing on my squats in my garage gym (full Olympic barbell/bench/rack with spotter bars/extra Olympic EzyCurl bar) set

On a related note: One of the advantages of weightlifting (at least for a middle aged cisgendered male) is that it increases testosterone production. Significantly lowered levels can have some really bad outcomes as one age, ie killing ener

Thanks, appreciated that information about doping. It sure is a tricky subject in weightlifting; someone actually relatively clean (ie doing their best to only take approved or at least non banned supplements) their entire life would likel

I understand that anabolic steroids give a life long advantage in terms of muscle memory. Anyone who's done some semi serious lifting and then gone on a long break to return will know that progress is much faster the Nth time around. T

Time based one time password authenticators, or one time password lists? Mobile phone plans can be highjacked just far too easily, and is a highly vulnerable vector for getting "keys to the kingdom" (ie your private Gmail account)

I've used Google Talk ie Hangouts since the beginning with my friends/family. It's been a service that's worked reasonably well, for ages - and we can't have that, can we? So now, on Android, they're trying to

Yeah and with the data they gather, they might be able to work out geographically appropriate versions. Eg add a smaller AIO water cooler to a hot climate area version, or some other hardening. Maybe it makes sense to apply to all versions?

Makes sense. Why ban the Google user when they can ban the whole news group (from their interface) instead. This awoke some latent memories of Forte Agent, the NTP (?) client? Good times..

Ditto for me. But rather than say it was airborne, I took the approach that the so called experts hadn't proven yet that it wasn't - so one should take precautions as if it was, until we could get more of a handle on this new doma

Interesting. I've bought most of my tech stuff from the same company for 20 years now. Their system actually lets me see all completed orders, and it tallied to about 50k AUD last time I checked (as an individual). They're not alw

Spurcycle bells on both my MTBs. They are great, sound nice and clear -and certainly not too offensive, and are just easy to use whilst looking awesome. So sad to see their design being ripped off by copycats.

Yeah it's Trek now. Gary Fisher was one of the first big ones to go heavy on the 29ers, back when 26" was still the norm. Boy did I feel a bit special on my Hi-fi duallie 11 years ago. :) Still have this bike today, they're b

My water-cooled 3900XT is locked to 4.4ghz all cores with relatively fast double banked 2x16GB c15 3600mhz memory. (It never drops under 4.4 on any of the 12/24 cores.) Also has a Samsung 980 1TB drive, and a 3070 GPU; the system truly

Good question. I've never soldered a thing in my life, would be willing to learn it to get this sensor package built however. Looks like an awesome project. I'm in Australia, which would likely make shipping a fair bit harder.
