That's a great idea! I don't like how the clip eats up display at the top - it should be possible to have this more compact, like e.g. Logitech's top of monitor mounts. Would be nice if they had a hinge on it so that it could

See above; I sympathise completely, was not happy with how my camera was positioned before. It's not perfect, but nonetheless a huge improvement.

Agree, it's really good for a webcam given enough light. Without enough light, it turns extremely mediocre - but that's what I've controlled for - and applies to ALL cameras. (A pro camera would make bad lighting less bad,

The RØDE Microphones NT-USB Mini would be a great step up from that, comes highly recommended. (I have one in the household.) Also the AT2020 is a classic, but I haven't used it myself. I have a plethora Audio Technica headphones thoug

I've put some effort into my setup in the past 24 months; multiple Elgato and Hue lights, a Streamdeck for macros and scene control, condenser microphone on an arm with an audio interface, OBS studio etc. I am not a streamer, but I

Yes, I researched this for evaluating my son's previous school - there's a sharp drop off even from the 10-20-30 metre range to the 100-150 metre one, and things like wind directions certainly matter. AusGov in their infinite wisd

I used Cydia many a year ago (in 2009) when I had the iPhone 3GS. If I recall correctly, the root I had to apply to be able to get it installed also allowed me to get your backgrounder plus sbsettings mods - thus getting real multitasking w

There are numerous studies on the myriad bad health effects of PM2.5. The sooner we can transition to EVs, the better.

It's super interesting to see that Australia doesn't hold a monopoly on having completely brain-dead anti systemic thinking people in charge of developing environmentally friendly sustainability policies.

Yes, I'm flabbergasted by a lot of the responses. I've kept clinging on to the idea that everyone must have a moral compass, but the last few years are really hitting home that I may be in a minority to have such clear ideas about

It's huge in Australia. Big Coal/Fossil has its fingers deep into government and apparently no-one thinks this is bad. We're still approving new coal and gas projects in 2021, and milage taxing EVs with not a CO² vehicle tax
