I have a few tech people I want to follow as they use it as a blog. But I do not want an account on twitter as it is too easy for me to get dragged into conversations that are unproductive for everyone involved. So I picked a method where

hehe, Do not think like an engineer in this case. Think like someone who only has to get it right once but can try 100 times. So even if you have a flake connection. Just so long as it works that 'one time'. You are good.

You can present yourself as a standard file system or some device you know has a known exploit in the driver on the other side. Then on the USB 'drive' side you have a full out arm CPU. It can issue commands too as it is connect

My point was it was not a new thing. 8MB would have probably been well over 250 dollars worth of new parts at that time. Plus the re-cert and if you could fit it on the existing board. These days you would not be talking with a small amo

That mentality is not 'new'. No, you can not add the whole c++ std lib into our code. Yes, I know it is useful. Yes, that will save you 2 hours of work. However, the code no longer even fits into the 1MB of flash we have. Yes w

Not only is it achievable. If I get it wrong they send it back. That means there is an automated audit system. That means we are arguing about who gets to own the front end form. There is no incentive for either side to make it simpler

Most of my issues with distributed came from poor over the wire interop. Very crappy libs that would serialize and deserialize in amazingly bad ways. Or some descriptor lang (like idl). Then God help you if you had two different CPU/

I used to work on systems like this. The thing is there is a lot of data. But no effective or even interesting ways to use that data. My guess they want to get into the 'home automation' bits. Which is a huge money sink and rea

The forgiveness is not always for them. It is sometimes for you. That was their point. Forgiveness is a part of a process to 'let go'. Not doing it ever can create distrust issues with total strangers. I have seen it a few ti

I live with someone who does not 'forget' and accumulates. It eats at them every day. They get wildly angry at total strangers now for slight transgressions. I regularly have to walk them through how most of what happens is not

What gets me is how even though today we do not have totally perfect emulation of a lot of systems. Probably the closest to perfect is the byuu emulation of the SNES system. My amazement is some of this stuff still runs. I have over the
