Everyone on this thread seems to be missing the point that they’ll be working with stablecoins on Ethereum and other smart contracts chains, and not Bitcoin.

We’re already seeing more wrapped BTC on Ethereum, than there is BTC on Lightning, so that’s very telling.

Eth2 with PoS is already running with Phase 0 on mainnnet though. https://beaconcha.in/ The merge from Eth1 to Eth2 is expected to happen this year or after. There shouldn’t be any significant delays now because Phase 0 was

Cardano doesn't have smart contracts yet, and with Metcalfe's Law and network effects, Ethereum is already leading with DeFi.

It would need larger blocks, but it was the general understanding within the community before the fork that with Moore's Law, hard disk capacity would increase and price would go down in the future, so it really isn't a big deal,

I've said it before and I'll say it again: It’s mysterious how Bitcoiners hate the Fed printing money but they get awfully quiet with Tether printing money when it helps prop up the price.

I do find it odd that Bitcoiners who tend to be incredibly, incredibly outspoken about Ending the Fed, and QE money printing, call any criticism of Tether as FUD in a cult manner, or shrug it off as non-issue. It was/is effectively a f
