Yes, there are newer Bluetooth headphones with significantly lower latencies, either through LE Bluetooth audio or through codecs like AptX LL.

The point of the editors is that it is long standing precedent on Wikipedia that the statements of politicians have little factual relevance except for the statement itself, so they are normally not taken into account.

Rice is 45 cents per kg in bulk, and contains the equivalent of 4kWh. Electricity is not actually much cheaper than food, if at all.

The Iranian missile arsenal and production is now focused on solid fueled missiles, so they were emerging from a predictable place, but with a fuelled rocket they could fire in minutes. Since it took at least an hour for a cruise missile to

The attacks on Iranian industry had zero land attack component. Iran is a very large country and Iraq was not able to hold much Iranian territory, the distances involved mean that Iraq was just like Israel reliant on airpower for these stri

A more relevant historical parallel was the Iran-Iraq war. Iraq, in the first 5 years of the war, had largely degraded Iranian air defenses and was able to carry out many thousands of airstrikes, at some points even using strategic bombers,

Iran's GDP PPP is 1.75 trillion. The capacity for Iran to produce domestic designs is far higher than Israel's. Iran's nominal GDP has fallen drastically because of sanctions, but in terms of domestically produced and domesti

Iranian solid-fueled MRBM production rates were estimated by Israel to be at 200 a month, and rapidly increasing. That is actually a pretty remarkable production rate - basically the yearly production rate of interceptors. And that's o

Iran being neutered is propaganda that is necessary for the (failed, for now) Israeli plan of regime change. Iran maintains the ability to build ballistic missiles in large numbers, greatly depleted Israel-US BMD reserves, continues to buil

A blockade is an act of war, so speaking strictly no war could have started while an act of war (amongst a hundred others) was already in commission.

But typically with a much smaller number of turns. A motor coil should have a decently high inductance and thus act as an antenna only for pretty low frequencies.

Won't this be pretty easy to defend against with some shielding and optocouplers? Doubly so for fiber optic drones.

Rockstar actually did fix this bug some years ago, but because some content was removed, people instead downgrade to an earlier version that still has the bug and rely on community patches.

They likely would not, due to the curvature of the earth. The locations of the air defenses are known, and the cruise missile fly low such that the detection range is limited to around 20km by the horizon. So they typically only get detecte

AN/TPY-2 has a 120 degree FoV, and CENTCOM operates them all across the ME, not just in Qatar, but also in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and in Israel. The likelihood that none of those installations had the ALBMs in range is basically zero.

The radars that Qatar has to their disposal are the same for cruise and ballistic missiles. Due to the curvature of the earth, such a cruise missile attack would almost certainly not be detected until it got close to Qatar.

How is that not just a consequence of market based healtcare? Winners and losers is a natural consequence of market competition, and the instability it brings is natural as well.

The system with long range detection radars (THAAD) is operated by the US, not Qatar. Qatar's radars would not be able to detect a ballistic missile until it was already too late, as detection range for BMs is only around 100km.

ALBMs are not any harder to detect than normal ballistic missiles. You don't need jets to go over the Red Sea either, Houthi cruise missiles can operate over the Red Sea and then change course to hit their targets.

Qatar has a THAAD and Patriot installation, the former assumed to be manned by the US, which can engage these threats. The latter can detect them at a much lower range. These missiles are not especially fast given the distance they have to

Houthis use long range drones and cruise missiles which can easily be fired from the West over the Red Sea. There is no plausible situation where they simply don't point the radars that way. There is also SBIRS and radars across Saudi

You can do that pretty trivially for any fixed size problem (as in solvable with a fixed-sized tape Turing machine), you'll just have a titanically huge state space. The claim of the LLM folks is that the models have a huge state space
