You might not realize just how easy it is to track users behind NAT. You might also not realize just how shady and willing to sell you out many of these VPN services are. They tend to be un-audited, un-regulated.

The "carrier" ceases to be just a "carrier" at that point. They're now both a "carrier" and a "filter". Sometimes I just want unmolested water.

Regarding the Y-12 breaches, 'not James Bond-level' is a minor understatement. We're talking about an 82 year-old nun. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megan_Rice

Currently that police officer is motivated by money. That money comes from taxes collected by siphoning off a bit of value every time value changes hands. How do you continue motivating that police officer? Or the engineers/technicians

Unless you've written very poorly behaving software, you kill it by sending it a SIGTERM, and waiting for it to exit. This is true of software both within and outside of containers. The fact `docker kill` defaults to using SIGKILL inst

Seems like a straw-man. Why is a process running within a container failing over more frequently than a process running directly on bare metal -- seems like more of a resource/process scheduling issue than anything to do with container

Spectrum/TWC has had IPv6 via DHCPv6 with prefix delegation for a few years in Louisville, but only with a select set of modems. A Juniper DOCSIS 3 wouldn't work for me while a Motorola had no trouble.

GP hit it on the head. Every node is globally addressable. Regarding the 464xlat, that's strictly to enable hosts in the internal network to communicate with external IPv4 only hosts. IPv6 is still used as the only internal transport,

I really wish there were support for an IPv6-only VPC. Terminate inbound IPv4 at ELBs/CloudFront, use 464xlat or similar for outbound IPv4.

Most workflows utilizing OpenPGP cards (like the Yubikey) encourage better key hygiene. Generally you'd create a certification key which lives offline 100% of the time, with a subkey issued to the Yubikey. This means your offline key c
