I agree with you but at the same time I can see why you were downvoted. No need to be so rude. But I feel that it's incorrect to dismiss Google as being a bad search engine. DDG and Brave both provide !bangs for google and many other s

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't most old school RTS games peer to peer? EDIT: I misinterpreted the comment as saying that old games weren't P2P, sorry.

I have a total of 4 GB ram on my laptop. Background programs consume about 2 gb and windows around 1.5. Thay leaves me with around 500 MB free.

This is especially a concern for Google Drive, considering how pirates use it. Until very recently, nearly all CSF (clean steam files; the uncompressed, cracked game files) archives shared on the biggest video game piracy forum were stored

A way to add a short description along with favourited submissions/comments. A little bit of context as to why I chose that particular submission or comment can go a long way.

What about when your reasons for continuing to read the book change as the book progresses and perhaps turns out to be different from what you were originally anticipating?

I agree. I think most such books could be easily summarized into perhaps a quarter of its original word count, without significantly affecting any value that its readers may gain from it.

Would you recommend it to a casual fantasy reader who's never really ventured beyond Sanderson/Rothfuss/etc?

I haven't read Malazan but I've heard it's very hard to get into. I've seen trying to read the first book being likened to being dropped in a remote Chinese village with no manual or linguistic ability in Mandarin. For y

Did you mean seconds? 2-3 frames on 144 FPS would be roughly 17 ms which I think is too short for a human to notice. Also, did you enable VSync on both the tests? And the same form of VSync? That can have an impact on input lag.

I wouldn't say that things necessarily get worse with each update. I think new features get gradually added which make the software less accessible and/or harder to learn for beginners and/or impact performance. I know, all o

I think for most people who want to get started with SRS, Anki is just fine. A lot of people like to hate its UI but I personally find it perfectly fine (and even good before the recent update where they forced drop shadows on random UI ele

I'd switch to FSRS, but the short-term workload increase is too much for me. I know it can be avpided by only enabling FARS for new decks and then gradually shifting over the entire collection, but that I don't think I'd like

For me Vivaldi needs more resources than Edge or vanilla Chromium but the tradeoff is more than worth the additional features. I can't comment on how resource-intensive it was a year ago, since I only started using it ~5 months ago.
