I've always been of the opinion that there some people for whom marijuana provides a form pleasure, and then there is everyone else. I've really never been able to handle it. I've experienced anxiety/paranoia but even in

These hybrids should be 100m EV range, that is plenty for most trips. The RAV4 Prime gets about 42m from each charge, which is a bit short for my commute but cuts by gas consumption by a whole lot. There's nothing under-powered about t

Elite institutions do not exist to give more people access to anything. And where that is a goal, there is clearly a point where you have to draw a line based on capacity, student:teacher ratios, etc.

Your comment is judgmental but my observation is that this is how many people live their lives. How much of this is a function of their personality vs the society they must live in is an open question.

I built a big DIY one and then immediately bought a non-DIY one for my bedroom. The filters are going to cost a lot more, but it looks a lot nicer and I don't have to think about turning in on and off - it's runs on auto.

In the USA if your problem can’t be solved in a way that produces a profit, you must solve it yourself or live with the consequences. Our society is too heterogenous for us to make public benefit a goal. Every type of benefit is perceived a

I would appreciate you expounding on how those traits generate interest on your part. I think many people might find those rather off-putting - whether in an institution, a group, or a person.

At a macro level Amazon has usurped eBay's marketplace, but at a micro level FB marketplace has really hit its stride. I will often wait until someone on FB is selling what I want within an hours drive, rather than buy the same thing t

Agreed. In fact there are significant parts of the US where 1 or 2 day delivery is not available. But people who live there, like me, use Amazon often because it's the 'easy button'.

This supports my take, which is that the perfect EV is a plug-in hybrid with about 100m EV range, in addition to an ICE. My RAV4 gets 50 depending on temps, so on average I use the ICE for about 10 miles of my long commute. But I load up an
