The multi app structure is really good and enables extending your project with other apps and gaining all their migrations and everything else. Its one thing I didnt appreciate until I tried fastapi and found it wasn't there.

This is good. It would be nice to include MSSQL even though its third party (it doesn't support distinct on columns which was a suprise).

Merely weeke ago before this law came in we said this would happen. It will keep happening as well. Their IDs given in the name of "online safety" how safe are they now their IDs are leaked?

Its such a ridiculous law and this outcome is entirely predictable, but bring this up with the proponents of it and they stick their head in the sand, to the point where I think they are perfectly happy with the UK not having a working Inte

They should have a step to remove those sorts of comments, they only add noise to the code.

My wishlist top item is to stop creating a class with Service on the name and having things come off it, when all I needed was functions and methods, the dev I was working with submitted a lot of these and in testing I could get the LLM to

Semantics. Question still stands, why are you writing (posting or commenting) this almost every day. I can't imagine being so obsessed by something for that long that I comment on it almost every day.

What does showing your github do with writing about writing negative posts about a company almost every single day ?

Surely this is a time where you don't have to much of a cynic at all to believe this.

Both sound good, it seems like # immediately above a variable should be the first fallback.

Here are some anti patterns a colleague put in their code. Prescriptive comment: Comment describes exactly what the following code does without adding useful context. (Usually this is for the LLM to direct itself and should be removed). Inc

Yes, its terrible. I did a similar thing with my dad when he was going through parkinsons. When I got him a book for seniors it turned out to be really thick, and justifiably so. Egregious bits of the interface include the parts you can dra

I couldn't work out how to enter it on Firefox on Android. I went to airplane mode, then I noticed I still had WiFi on, then tried to load the site again, the only difference was it said it had 0 visitors.

Yeah, verbosity is the big thing LLMs do. Lots of the work after the initial code generation is cajoling it into writing something shorter then going back and just doing that.

I'm sceptical that there are no tells like the useless comments that are word for word what the code will do.

I really like the grammar, which is from Gaelic - it probably explains constructions like "did you not?".

The companies breaking the law aren't going to be putting employees through the current or next system. Since the Tory gov you have to supply various ID to work in (legitimate) businesses or rent from (legitimate) land lords. The only

This is totally pointless. When starting a job you already have to give enough ID to do the home offices job for them, this adds absolutely nothing.
