I disagree. I made a drum machine that, while has a few bugs (the beat url), tempo isn't one of them. Even when switching tabs. http://beatpetite.com As an aside, the drum sounds themselves are generate using the web audio

I'd stop worrying about it and concentrated your energies elsewhere. By thinking about stuff like this you're focussing less on your own product, which is the important thing. If people are copying you, then you're most likely ahead of the

All this development when a great web app already exists makes me sad. This just seems like development for development's sake. Rather than using that engineering effort to make one amazing product, complexity is increased, and bugs are fix

It's not fun anymore for developers . Of course it isn't, but do normal users care? I can't say I've enjoyed using twitter any less since they introduced the API limit.
