The real question is: what makes a group okay to "discriminate" against? Is it my driving experience (i.e. age)? How many incidents I have had? My ability to afford a safe car or live in a nice area? Where are we allowed to draw the line?

8 on my store, 1 for a group I'm in, 2 for a company, and a few in development. Only one or two actually make me any money (besides the freelance checks).

I haven't used it in the field yet, but I just received my Square device. Great hardware and software for something I thought was vaporware. The $1 limit on credit cards is annoying if you want to sell something at $0.99 though.

Brands, religions, cults, gangs, families, friends are all basically the same thing to humans: belonging to a group.

I'd like to get a Google TV web browser for my desktop. Watching TV from bed on it would be much easier. Hopefully it'll just be a user-agent switch.

I'd like to see a server-side system that spliced video clips together to create a custom, downloadable video file. Of course, you wouldn't be able to stop users from skipping the ads...

I agree that live broad/podcasts need a very strict schedule, but I don't think that they're not doing it because they haven't thought of it. I think the problem is either they're not serious enough about their content or that unscripted, l

I think the iPad (at least iBooks) is best for people who have no interest in investing the time in perusing book stores or buying a device just to read books. But now that something you wanted has a nice book reader inside of it, you might

Just so I don't look like a dick: I don't think he stole my idea. We actually emailed back and forth a while ago (started about something else, calendars came up). People have the same ideas at the same time. It's always nice to get another

I know this is an April Fools post, but still: YES, I've been thinking about this kind of thing for a while. But <nsfw> doesn't seem like enough. What if an entire page or website is nsfw? Maybe some kind of header information would

There are much more typographically useful symbols. I made a Google spreadsheet to keep track of the ones I use: ‘ ’ “ ” — … • ½ ™ Ⅳ and lots of other ones that are much less useful.

Sadly, I’m always thinking up services like these. What about a company that connects you with a “girl” to SMS with whenever you’re bored? I know these kind of exist, but would advertising them as friendly—rather than sexual—hurt or help th

Definitely go for HTML5, mostly h.264, since HTML5, Flash, and iPhone all use that standard (for the most part). Plus, Palm WebOS and Android. But, if you have the resources, you might as well have an app. Think of the App Store as free adv

Maybe separate approval if they write a new UI for the iPad since Apple has to approve the UI. But I'm guessing they won't need it if they don't change a thing and just have user's choose to upscale it. Apple would probably prefer to be boa

I wrote two apps for the SuicideGirls[NSFW], and one has since been removed. SG is sexual, but not out right porn. Apple can do what it wants, but it kind of sucks that an entire company's branding is essentially banned or "in review" for 3
