Given the choice of Docker and Traefik I would love to know what's the exact difference to Kamal? And btw Kamal will soon have a new improved version with a custom proxy.

It's good to see new projects. However most people shouldn't start with Kubernetes at all. If you don't need autoscaling, give Kamal[0] a go. It's the tool 37signals made to leave Kubernetes and cloud. Works super well w

I work on three things currently. Tube and Chill - https://tubeandchill.com It's something like IMDB for YouTube with recommendations and browsability without algoritms. Test Driving Rails - https://testdrivingra

The issue is political and has nothing to do with Elixir (which is pretty great btw). Please read the post again.

Looks like a similar idea to mine with Tube and Chill ( https://tubeandchill.com ) except I am not doing the voting system.

I agree that sometimes Bash is enough, which is what I show in Deployment from Scratch. However I am moving pretty much everything to Kamal now...

Moderators sometimes put something on the homepage. HN is a little bit curated, it's not just upvotes.
