Except that if you investigate it turns out that most people don't actually listen to the song texts to any meaningful degree.

I find a setup guide, but no code examples whatsoever. Am I missing something?

I guess trackers will just ask websites to route analytics traffic through their own infrastructure. Would it be enough for example.com to setup a dns alias pointing tracking.example.com to tracking.com?

We wanted to use the KCL on the receiver side, but figured that it required building some sort of cluster to mediate which node would receive which shard. Tricky, especially when resharding. With Lambda, you get that for free. So we opted f

The sad truth is that most people just aren't very self-aware. I had one wake-up call when I was called wierd by my training buddy, him question why I even took part in the classes we were taking. I asked him why, he responded that my

Wait, so according to you it's OK to be as rude as you wish, as long as you are technically correct? I think most people couldn't care less who's right or wrong in this discussion. They are simply reacting to the discourse. P

Actually, GDPR only requires that any links from the data to the user should be destroyed, so that you can no longer figure out who created the data. This means that a lot of data will be left. And realistically I think that a lot of it wil

Speaking as a Swede, that is not entirely true in my experience. It's still expensive for employers and they don't like hiring women who will soon be pregnant.Or their men for that matter, but those are harder to spot :) I have fe

Eclipse was awesome straight out of IBM, but IMO OSGI killed it of. OSGI is such a clunky framework to work with/around, I think it slowed down the devs enough to eventually make it outshined by others.

IMO you won't miss it in the long run. IntelliJ is good enough to not require such an interface to keep you focused. There is a similar feature, but I never used it.

Awesome! Why are routes added after the server has started? That makes me a bit worried, I would like to initialize the app completely before accepting requests, that's more or less necessary when under high load...

I urge people to fight this politically as well. We know from China that most technologies can be blocked or legislated against. If you want a future with more freedom and privacy, fight this politically.

I also found this effect super annoying when I switched to using a car - having to sell my carriage, get rid of my stable, sell or rent all my horses. All my connections in remote stables were suddenly useless. And I had to sell of all that

This is something we discuss a lot in Sweden. The Nobel peace prize is issued by the Norwegian Nobel Committee, not the Swedish one. And the economy prize was constituted as a response to the bank who started financing the Nobel committee.

I agree. And if you view HTML as presentation there is absolutely nothing wrong with embedding styles. The CSS separation only makes sense if you consider HTML data, which some people might do but I think is misguided.
