From the mention of Lloyds I'll assume that Two9A is in the UK. The best instant access savings I know about is 2.9% from the post office [1] with better rates available for 1 year bonds or longer [2]. [1] http://www.postoffice.co.uk/port

They talk about producing 10k gallons of ethanol and then about scaling that up to 25k gallons. You're looking at 557 MWh adjusting for ethanol and an adjusted efficiency of ~9%.

I'm not sure what the cricket equivalent would be but in a mouse model open space and bright space anxiety tests would be a reasonable approach to understanding whether the anxiety is general or specific to spiders.

Any plans for an API so users of other blogging software could implement it?

My understanding was that the first two characters of the hash were the salt. Also, encryption implies decryption which isn't possible here, apart from brute forcing. What's being done here, albeit badly, is hashing.</pedantry>

Does anyone have more information on the following: "Second, the salts are only 12 bits. A proper implementation would use salts twice as large as the logarithm of the number of passwords which could ever be stored, forcing the attacker to

My understanding is that duckduckgo uses Bing rather than google (mentioned in the comments at http://www.gabrielweinberg.com/blog/2009/03/duck-duck-go-arc... ). Although that doesn't alter the validity of your concern.

If this approach has promise it seems a shame that the mission ended yesterday, just two days after this paper was released. http://demeter.cnrs-orleans.fr/dmt/index.html The next step must be to investigate whether any similar correlati

Could you give a little more detail on how this works. The cedexis website mentions tags that need to be placed on a website. I'm assuming javascript recording the time it takes to load resources. Is this correct? Is there more to it?

It has been a while since I looked at S3 and didn't spot multi-factor authentication at the time. At only $13for the fob it seems like an interesting alternative. Thanks for the follow-up.

One point which rarely gets mentioned is that to use S3 you need to have the access codes on the server. So theoretically a malicious individual could break into your server and delete all your files on that box and then wipe all the files
