It doesn't really make sense though. I assume the aim isn't to go 'off the grid' but push something to the top of the results. Your CV perhaps? Anyone looking, a recruiter for example, will have done countless similar searches and will kn

It depends on how you define "a bit". The last time I paid any attention to this the toolbar PR was updated every 3 months or so and those updates were already outdated. I can't remember how outdated the updates were or even if google tol

Toolbar PR != google internal PR The story here is that even with very few links this site has been able to secure a pagerank of 2. The suggestion being that PR 2 is impressive. It's not, I would wager that any site with at least some lin

Is this meant to be sarcastic? If not, then I really don't get it. How is this in any way world changing? It's just some pretty pictures from a standard google office complex.

It's almost funny reading some of the comments attempting to twist the story around the US position. In the UK abortion is very nearly approaching a non-story. The only surprise for me was that google banned the advert to begin with.

That doesn't really make it any less annoying. You don't have to use the same title used by what you're linking to and in this instance it would have been great if you had changed it to lowercase.

All the people interviewed were female and worked in media in one form or another. If that is the only demographic where "BUI" is common I can't say it's widespread. Difficult to know from this article.

The only fish they mention is salmon. I'm not entirely sure all the health issues surrounding intensively farmed salmon have been established yet. I would say mercury is only one aspect we should be concerned about.

Statements like "Totnes, a town of about 8,000 people" and "In Totnes, there are about 5,000 notes in circulation" suggest to me this is no more than a gimmick. Even as a local currency it can't work.

I don't think the problem is one of complexity as such but more of being more complex than people imagine. Very few people have any knowledge of high energy physics, so only those who actually know what they're talking about offer an opini
