Works for seasoned players. For myself and most people I play with, we're reading the cards most of the time. Try fitting Shahrazad's text on a card with sharpie :) Also, so much effort ><

I play very infrequently, so it is fun to say "let's play legacy, pick something random from a legacy top decks list". Gets boring pretty quickly, but I'm burnt out on MtG for awhile by that point anyway :)

On the one hand, with TTKs the same as CS, it's unlikely it will ever be as ability heavy as Overwatch. On the other hand, unless Riot deviates massively from my expectations, they will release new agents so often, and with such power

Bleh! I was really hoping they would have smoothed that out by now. I just want a damn UDP socket to my server! I guess it's easier to piggyback on the security model of the P2P handshake than work out a separate model for client-serve

This is the format of patch files for Propellerhead's Scream 4. It is just a serialization format for the settings of the knobs. Not exactly the same as "decoding a VST".

For all their anti-fraud measures, they still couldn't figure out that those 3 simultaneous $500 transactions with a West African gold mining company weren't actually initiated by me, and need 3 weeks to resolve it. Anyone using

It's been awhile since I took a crack at WebRTC. Do you still need to go through all the peer negotiation even when you are just trying to get to a known server?

This appears to strictly use WebSocket, and not touch WebRTC at all. It is no surprise that a TCP text-based protocol sucks for realtime gaming purposes.

Unfortunately, it seems like Riot plans to take the same approach they do with League of Legends, and introduce new agents consistently and frequently. With the need for unique and interesting abilities to drive interest, Valorant will end

This raises an interesting point - async is less well suited to languages that are, well, slow as molasses. If your language is so slow that basic operations dominate even network IO, you're not going to gain much.

And completely for free, without buying packs/cards! You can play with decks that would cost $10,000 to put together with physical cards.

I mean, I'm very much in support of the protestors, but... They can't exactly institute a curfew after things get out of control. And they have gotten out of control across the country in the previous nights.

I'm really sad I missed the boat so hard on Powershell. I grabbed it at the first public release (beta? alpha?), and the thing was absurdly slow. Trying to `ls` took around 10 seconds. I nope'd out and didn't touch it again.

As Californian, I hate exit numbers. I typically know vaguely where I'm trying to go, but navigation apps nowadays often favor the exit numbers. Exit numbers are still poorly marked in a lot of places, and are typically harder to spot.

It would be nice to have KYC using a certificate system, where organizations could publish that they have performed the check. At its core, that would be optional, and it would be up to the parties to a given transaction whether they care.
