Personally, I’m not interested in LLM in a browser as a chat bot. I do like Arc with their summary, but I’m not interested in asking questions etc - I’ll use ChatGPT/Perplexity for that. In fact, I’d prefer it not to be included as it’

I couldn’t get my custom email domain on iCloud to send correctly without using alias / on behalf of. Tried many ways too. So the new outlook is backwards tech for me

Last a week? Amateur - I can munch through 100% chocolate quite easily (Montezuma Orange is my favourite for UK people - buy in Sainsburys)

Well said. Covid and lockdowns caused many issues but something I am going to be forever thankful for - the push to work from home. It meant I could spend lots of time with my son. Precovid, I would leave before he got up and then have half

Yup, love photopea. No need to wait for Photoshop to load and it works on any computer with a browser.

I disagree, I don't think they are a scam at all. I cancelled my order with them a couple of weeks ago as I felt it wasn't worth the money to me - they gave me a refund without complaint at all.

I pay for perplexity pro - absolutely love it. I had an issue with shopify and was able to work through the fix using perplexity which I wasn't able to get with chatgpt on its own. I love that you can change the models, I mostly use Cl

What are people's thoughts around vpns for select devices at home for nafarious activity? So most traffic goes through open net, and tv (for example) goes through a privacy first vpn provider with an exit in, say, Switzerland. And Prot

They gave 12 months perplexity pro with it - and I am already a subscriber. So, I basically paid a bit extra for another 12 months and a rabbit r1 to play with. If it doesn't work how I want, I should be able to sell on whilst keeping

Sure - I have trakt for managing what I have watched. Testing Queue for ios for future watching. I use todoist for general to do lists (moved to ticktick but back because of 2FA). I don't really copy quotes any more but I used pocket p

Depends on how you have it set up. In Apple devices, it is hidden in a few levels, they will NEVER find it without a lot of investigation. For Amazon devices, the only way I have found to use it is via an app - this can be turned off. Or, y

Nextdns here too. It’s a good price and has been very helpful in locking down my son’s devices. Initially had an Amazon Fire 10 HD (actually, initially a 7) - the kids setup is very good, providing games, books and audio books but they do n

Batch 6 But - I am SO looking forward to getting this. I have Perplexity Pro anyway, so getting it included just made this a steal. If I hate it, I can just sell on and keep the perplexity pro.

Agree with this. I had to teach Excel to apprentices when they joined - just because they are digital natives, doesn’t mean they can actually use business tools.

It’s about liquidity in the financial markets- lower interest rates means people earn less when the money is in a back. So, they are open to speculation outside of normal banking system. It is also whales playing games too though

Nice - loved a bit of Boinc at one point. I have Vodafone DreamLab installed on my iPhone and set it each night to compute whilst charging. Nice to be able to utilise the phone for some good whilst I am asleep.

It is worth the 2 month feee trial with the Google one space. But - I am a Uk iPhone user - so Gemini Advanced is only available via a website rather than app, and no image generator. So, for me: ChatGPT4 Pro > copilot pro > Gemini ad

The image creation with perplexity pro is poor. You can only generate 4 types of images based on the results (impressionist etc). It is not comparable- and it really lets down the product. They say it isn’t what perplexity is made for… Wher

Ok, so signed up to the free trial. I’ve now got perplexity pro, ChatGPT pro (expiring in a day or two), copilot pro (expiring end of the month) and Gemini advanced. And really, I don’t have much use for any of them over and above perplexit

I love nextdns - pihole was fine but required admin, and I also had challenges vpn’ing in to use it out side of home. Whereas nextdns is simple to use, and effective.

I work for a company that used to offer points back to their members. They closed it down after 15+ years - they honoured all they should, but it highlighted the problem to me. The points are not cash - they are only cash once it has hit yo
