Cool. I never thought Pinterest would reach this far. It's promising for all web startups.

I'm currently hard at work with this self, but having a girlfriend complicates things. Every day before leaving home, I visit my bookshelf, select one of my 1-200+ books that I never read anyway and throw it away. I smile, thinking to mysel

This is possibly the worst - but funniest and most innovative - idea for a dating website I've ever heard of. The signup button didn't work in Chrome, so I had to get the signup URL from your HTML code. Just signed up now, will venture into

Made this quick little tool today. Uses a host of proxies to avoid getting caught for spamming Google Toolbar PageRank servers; then we do a live ajax check towards Google as soon as the user finishes typing one of the 280 (or so) TLD domai

Microsoft has lost; there's no getting back the head start they once had. It's not like Windows 8 is going to set the record straight and grow Microsoft to 10x the size of Apple and Google combined, like it once was. In part, this is becaus

Hmm.. It's a fantastic idea and really great website, but the actual algorithm is very unprecise. See this: http://i.imgur.com/ulith.png?1 You need to get a higher percentage of actual matches before you can use this for anything.

http://www.listnerd.com Listnerd is a kind of Pinterest for lists. Users can create, share and explore interesting lists about the stuff in their life they care about. The lists are social, so your friends can vote on and add items to you

Thanks for the input - and the praise. To be honest, the value in our lists is limited so far. Some are really good, but we need to keep improving both the content and increase the number of votes on the lists to actually create really good

Hi. Listnerd is a bootstrapped startup. So far we've invested 100k into it. Listnerd is a startup owned by our media company Omega Media, which has a yearly revenue of roughly $1.2 million USD. So I'd say it's a startup. Thanks for your inp

Actually, Ranker is. Users can both vote on, "re-rank" and comment on existing lists, in addition to being integrated with Facebook and Twitter.

Good input :) The goal is to build a number 1 traffic destination; a kind of Pinterest or Youtube for lists. At its heart, Listnerd is a social discovery and recommendation tool. We want to help people separate good products from bad. That'

Thanks a lot :) That's an excellent suggestion! We'll try to implement it asap. And kudos to you for seeing what we also (think we) see; which is a market - and need - for user-generated, collaborative online lists :)

I think you're forgetting a few candidates. Ranker.com and Listverse.com both have massive amounts of traffic; and they're based around lists - albeit with a far worse UX than Listnerd currently offers. So I wouldn't write off lists based o

Thanks for the input! We're hard at work with a mobile version (should have went mobile first...), but it's on its way - 2-3 weeks shy of a release. We're doing a responsive theme, but right now, everything just sucks. Sorry :(

As I also answered for Amen and Well.io, their site is quite one-dimensional - as it only offers "likes" (upvotes). There's no granularity in the rating scale. We offer up- and down-votes, in addition to a 0-10 scale. I think that's quite i
