You will probably get caught out the first time or two - they charge you a cheap up front price but then add lots of little charges for all kinds of extras (luggage, checkin, that kind of thing). Once you know the system it works well.

Yeah, there's a limit to how much of a premium I'm prepared to pay for the benefit of bricks and mortar! Though cables can vary a bit in price depending on quality, so that might have come into it a bit too.

I sometimes feel a bit bad about price checking items in a local shop against the web. For example, I wanted to buy some climbing shoes recently. I have never bought a pair before, had no idea what I should be looking for and what size I

I'm not sure that the refraction of a lens is mathematically invertible/reversible? As I understand it, the problem with my eye is that my lens doesn't focus a point light source (e.g. a pixel) onto a point on my retina - one consequence of

I'm not sure what you mean here - is it a camera app to bring stuff into focus or is it a warped screen image to bring your phone into focus? If it's the first one then I don't think the distance from camera to object is a problem - camera

I think it's because "safest and easiest" is quite a definite claim - they would be saying that no other payment method is safer than them, which could lead to claims of false advertising from their competitors. "Safer and easier" doesn't

Yes, but I don't use facebook because my Grandma's on it (well, actually she isn't, but if she was it wouldn't matter). If I found a new social network that I thought offered something new I would start using that in parallel to facebook.

Assuming of course that you live in the US. In the UK it's relatively difficult to get rid of people - sacking is very difficult and likely to end up in court (you need a bulletproof reason for doing it) and the redundancy process is quite

I find the main benefit of project-specific site-package directories is simply that it's easy to see what my project depends on and what it doesn't. If everything's mixed together in the global dir then it's not always obvious. This becom
