Thanks I hate it. I hate that sides want to control how "wide", I mean narrow the text can be. Sorry, I prefer longer lines and not a bunch of empty space on the sides.

Where I live (in Europe), every factory has buses which ferries the workers to and from the factory even from remote villages. It isn't hard to do.

Same, I have a 2nd generation intel i5 desktop at home. since I have upgraded to an SSD and the RAM from 8 to 24gb it gained years of new life. Perfectly capable daily driver.

I hate this fanatical love of the UNIX way. I really hate that as of today Windows is the only non UNIX OS. I trully believe that this fact set us back. No more exciting new OSes only boring unix.

For a lot of things a 6502 or other 8bit cores are more than enough. Don't need to put a giant ARM or RISC-V into everything to drive a simple display.
