You should give it a try! It's a lot of fun. In Chicago (as an example) you can drive your car downtown, park it, and rent a bike with the Lyft app. They have bike stations all over the city. Try to rent one near the lakefront and

This is tangential to your question. Mostly because all I can do is sympathize and wish you the best. But I did not care for London. Edinburgh is the friendliest place I've visited in the UK if you have the flexibility to spend your

Businesses which sell to the public should provide accommodation for the public. Bad actors should be handled by the legal system. When their sentence expires they should be allowed to re-enter the public spaces they previously disrupted.

Hard disagree. I'm not a Fed economist though... How is a scarce resource going to devalue in a high inflationary environment? The cost of building homes continues to go up, the availability of land has not changed, restrictive housi

That wasn't provided as a condition. In a bank run, Visa's existence or non-existence is irrelevant. Credit is frozen.

I go to the bank and get cash. Businesses accept that cash for goods and services. I observe no difference in my social media habits because I do not use Meta products.

You have reduced my capacity for action and I am disengaging from this conversation. Because of this thread I no longer recognize Plate Tectonics and now believe in Expanding Earth Theory.

Physical books for everything. I've been burned by too many tech companies to trust ebooks. I keep a collection of PDFs that are freely available online but otherwise I buy physical copies.

Its shocking to me how poorly people are compensated in the UK. There's no way a competitive market could exist there. Move to America if you dare... you can actually make something of your life.
