While I think you're doing injustice to the haskell community, I think it's quite interesting that I personally quite frequently stumble over relevant tools that are written in go -- e.g. syncthing. The only haskell-based app I us

I think the problem here (and many critics) is that you read Foucault without taking into account the context of his work. Foucault was an active/socially commited philosopher who actively tried to do something to make things better. A

The most remarkable thing is that I don't see anything -- even with javascript enabled. Must be the ad blocker or something. Why can't a landing page have any kind of fallback plain html page?

I beg to differ. Sometimes things need to settle down or you have to gain some distance. This can take months or even years. If you don't have an external deadline, you can afford finishing things when you are actually ready for it.

While forth can be quite elegant at times and I have fond memories of using Mops, I wish modern forth dialects were statically type checked.

Why should an article about common lisp mention a clojure library? Because of the parentheses?

I don't understand the downvotes since that's about the official stance of the go team -- see the FAQ (cited somewhere else). Agree with it or not.

Funny, I thought it had happened before in the ruby world with the switch from ruby 1.8 to 1.9 and the pythonists simply followed suit.
