yeah, the 5.5 is the best. Such an easy mod, too. Combined with Rockbox and it's a near-perfect media player.

yup! You I replaced it with an iFlash Quad [1] -- it takes up to four micro SDs. I also replaced the battery with a 2000mAh and keep it all in the 30gb case. I also replaced the headphone jack and lock switch so they were black. Modding iPo

A guy in /r/buyitforlife posted a palm pilot (Tungsten C), and it got me thinking about heading back down this road (further than I already have.) For portable audio, I'm using a souped-up iPod video. I'm thinking 2020 w

great work! I love Tatham's puzzles. Every night I run through Cube, Galaxies, Guess, Inertia, Net, and Pearl -- but with my SE, I've got the puzzles as large as I can go before I am unable to actually play. The overall experience

nice! For WaPO and all other paywalls, you can try either of these paywall bypassing extensions [1], but for me, I find that simply disabling scripts through uBlock Origin does the trick. [1] https://github.com/iamadamdev&#x

I've been on about one meal per day for several years now. If I do a full brunch/lunch and late dinner, I feel so heavy. I typically do a scoop of chunky peanut butter or some yogurt in the morning with coffee, then nothing until

It's not perfect, but I've been using this Kill Sticky [1] bookmarklet to ditch those modals without having to look around for their [close] or 'x' link. [1] https://github.com/t-mart/kill-sticky

Early on, Etsy got rid of all of the 'vintage' stores, and there was a good deal of backlash --- but proper crafters were totally behind the move. Back then, if you wanted to get some great traction, you got into the chats with

Streaming definitely isn't renting, though. For an analog, it'd be like a video rental shop saying 'rent all you want for $11 per month'. Streaming services have released physical copies of their series. I doubt they

Personally, I view DRM for streaming different than DRM for purchased content. For streaming, DRM is to prevent the user from essentially archiving the catalog, which its fine by me. But DRM for purchased / non-subscription content isn

like Angostura said, some folks (me included) hide their dock. I probably haven't used the dock more than a dozen times this year. I use Alfred like we'd use dmenu (or whatever) with i3.

I love Thunderbird. When it went out of active dev, I switched to Postbox, assuming that they'd really get to work on the client. They didn't. They made it look mildly prettier, but stripped away a few of the good features without

yeah, like nammi said. Basically, go to Profiles > Session > check 'Status Bar Enabled' > Configure Status Bar If you hit rainbow and hate it, just remove the items and re-add them and they'll go back to normal. :)

Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection for IOS or Android is an excellent collection of games with variable difficulty. I enjoy Galaxies, Net, Inertia, Pearl, Guess, and Untangle the most.
