I remember a time when the topic of a lot of forum posts was Irrlicht vs. Ogre3D . If I recall correctly, Ogre3D was harder to get started with and had a smaller scope (just the scene graph), but was the better of the two 3D scene graph im

There are many third-party money apps that login to your online banking that are a violation of ToS. That doesn't stop people using them. In fact, when they get really big, they can be legitimised by banks. For example, to get my mortg

It can cover as much of the back-end that your front-end uses directly as you’d care to deploy as one service. Obviously if you’re going to have a microservices architecture, you’re not going to put all those services in the one Next.js app

You can indeed do that with Next.js. In the app router, it’s called generateStaticParams. In the pages router, it’s getStaticProps.

Back in your day, there wasn’t a developer experience by which you could build a website or web app (or both) as a single, cohesive unit, covering both front-end and back-end, while avoiding the hydration performance hit. Now we have Astro,

When you have a team of full-stackers with some front-end focused, some back-end, and some in the middle, with the right team culture these people can learn from each other and grow into well-rounded full-stack devs. And given the current m
