The anti vaxxers would love vaccines mandated by law. It would be the quickest route to an entire population turning anti-vax and setting back humanity by 100 years. But I am all for banning bullshit claims made by ineffectual remedies.

This story is so heartbreaking. I expected to see an old restored photo from the distant past, and being sold by a slaver not a parent. Sadly, this plays out today in many countries with parents or grandparents selling children into sex sla

It is most likely that company simple has a HR policy regarding pay and positions. If you Senior if you earn > $X. The "Senior" hires may have significant outside industry experience, even if they only have 9 months of programm

If this was in a sci-fi action movie I would roll my eyes at the implausiblilty of it. If it actually works... Wow!

Machine learn is also called statistical learning. It does not mean deep learning which is a subset of ML. Creating a model in python or R is going to be much easier than in excel.

Literally handing over your most valuable customer data to a current or future competitor. Surely only small time ecommerce operations in niche industries would dare use this.

What is cheap? I see some modules on aliexpress for about us$20 but with very limited bands... And I wonder if patent fees are being for those.

Depending on the cost I would definitely buy one as a hackable remote. For now the esp32 based M5stack fills this role. If someone builds a backplate with 4G I would definitely consider this to replace my smartphone.

Same reason people use a shotgun for home defense not a grenade! Limited penetration. much lower required accuracy. If you miss you don't send a shell in a random direction. You can shoot at targets very close to the tank barrel.
