Agree that antibiotics need to be withheld from livestock unless they are actually sick. Our conventional food system practices are a disgusting joke. On the innovative side, I wish more research were ongoing with regard to bacteriophages:

The problem with a PhD is that it requires a laser focus on a narrowly defined topic. I'm much more interested in the connections between different areas. Thus, no PhD so far. I also wouldn't want to put myself entirely under one

I went to college more than 15 years ago at a top-25 ranked school. Unlike in this article, one of the defining characteristics of my college experience (and one of the reasons I chose that college) was that no one asked anyone how they did
