The argument is that self driving vehicles set a false expectation that the driver can relax-- bad design

The amount of research that needs to be done to purchase even the most basic stuff online is beyond paralyzing. I hate shopping irl but I think I hate online shopping even more.

Scruff isn't too buggy but also insanely priced for basic features. Very gameified, "pay more to interact with better men". It's practically extortion considering a substantial chunk of the gay male population no longer

Why should Americans care about "economic performance" when they are seeing little benefit of it. The .1% etc.

I'm so jealous, I cannot get SHIT done at home. Can't focus nearly as productively without the cold clinical and fully equipped office enviornment.

>Companies far too commonly assume guilty until proven innocent Company assumed the rider was innocent until proven otherwise. Two way road here, being a middleman-as-a-service.

I couldn't disagree with you more. That employees must work (yes, this is work by your own admission) outside working hours is at the very least ironic. It's an insidious form of exploitation. Team building happens by relying on

>Not even Apple has support periods that long, and they sell $1000+ devices. I wouldn't use that as a model for comparison, it's particularly despicable

Honestly still much better than asking a forum. The hostility from forum regulars always seems more intense--less masked as a "terse down to brass tacks" attitude and more-so blatant laziness, misplaced frustration, etc. Also, for

Can we define automation then because my understanding was that it quite literally means sans human labor. Are you saying it's merely a political buzzword?

>subsidizing the price of their products until users couldn't live without them A good, more succinct way to describe the bait and switch scheme uber, airbnb etc have performed in their respective markets

The great thing about emojis is that you can still use emoticons :). Don't even have to worry about its skin color. Ambiguity is a feature. It also doesn't try to steal your attention like everything else on the modern web.

I would say there's a huge performance gap between the most powerful Pi and even a Nuc mini from 6 years ago. Hard to consider them in the same ballpark, use-case-wise.

That's weird. Twitter has been the worst offender. If you let a page sit for a seemingly random period and come back, the page will reload and leave you back at the top. Doesn't happen to you?

Ebay's platform has a seller/buyer protection system i.e., seller ratings etc. CL is a hands-off platform. Anyway they're a little different. I don't think you'd purchase an item to be shipped off CL? It's more
