I'm still waiting for the incontestable proof China is trying to get rid of Uygurs. No, a known anti-China source such as Adrian Zenz being propped up by adversaries of China does not count. If you have the slightest understanding of d

I believe discourse/debate on the internet are broken. I'll go as far as saying internet forums have failed because they're still text-only, moderation is still upvote/downvote-only and people are not obligated to add ci

Subjective comparisons are really useless on a debate eg. "I think USA/EU are bad but China is worse" while someone else will say exactly the opposite. You'll then say "he's blinded by propaganda" and the

Those movies are more often than not glorifying such embarrassments, which make them propaganda. As an analogy for China & the US, you can say one of them is Orwellian while the other is Huxleyan. They're both oppressive, but it&#x

You only have to look at this very website to see the same happening with US citizens' support for their government's chosen narrative. It bodes poorly for Puerto Rico, Cuba, Nicaragua and every other nation who had military junta

Domain blocking was some 10+ years ago, while "-site:pinterest.com" still works. I simply use Unpinterested, an extension that adds -site:pinterest to every image search on Google and have been happily ever after.

Yeah, I already got my money back from old copies of SNES games. Newer games, I'm waiting some 10 years or so to sell. They don't take much space after all.

That's how I do it: download first, if it's worth it, buy it but never open or use it, just keep it as a token.

I'm not the parent but I'll answer as a 9 years Linux user and advocate. Things just break with updates, or sometimes do not work. I'm on Ubuntu 20 right now and Firefox can't detect the microphone on some websites like

I do agree we're living an eternal september for the past months and comment quality has gone down to reddit-level, but I also agree with the commenter about this specific post from GH's founder.

Meanwhile, the planet gets hotter and many more people die during heatwaves than 20 years ago. Are you sure your McDonalds experience is more important than preventing more and more people from ceasing to breathe?

Ohh, that brings back memories! I didn't use BO, though I knew it existed, but used sub7 and NetBus a lot. The person who taught us (me and brother) to use it did the classic CD tray prank and then rebooted out computer. I remember hi

My point is that there's no such a thing as "liberation", since interventions are known to be used as a pretext to project power. Calling it "liberation" is an euphemism for what it really is. No nation should meddl

Dunno how it works in the US, but in Brazil there are plenty of "influencer" children accounts on IG and they already are dealing with IG obsession and whatnot. Knowing that, I figure IG is trying to isolate kids in a sub-site.
