They use SQLCipher which is OSS. I understand they don't release the UI code as it is what they use to make money. If you are afraid that they secretly copy your passwords you can easily check this. As you keep the file on your device

Actually yes, this was the main reason I moved from apple. I was looking for a new laptop and apple still used a 1400 something resolution as a standard with a 1600 something as an upgrade. Most windows oems used full HD panels at that time

To each there own I guess. I have been a happy fastmail user for many years, I get some spam maybe 1 or 2 mails per month and I just use the default spam settings. Seems like a personal choice not a tech or feature driven decision. Not sure

I would gladly pay (help fund) to get a DRM remover ASAP for the new Adobe DRM make it useless as fast as possible. I pay for my books I love the Kobo ecosystem (and safari/manning) but I always download the epub and remove adobe DRM.
