I don't understand the point of this article especially the bit about being an evil genius by ways of making excellent best in business cross OS api's. Really? being competitive is being an evil genius? If amazon is willing it can

I don't think it's about software per se, but more about the idea of Big Data. We have seen many ideas that have come and go most of the times a good idea but a good idea is not something you should use for everything. From the to

I think most people are missing the point. It is not about replacing your main OS or PC it is about having platform independence. The same reason why Google bought/started Android applies here; protecting/getting the means to sell

The reason I only back kickstarter projects is that I don't like that you pay inmidiatly with igg. Don't know if there is any data on funded projects that delivered or failed to deliver but my guess igg will do worse in this respe

As someone who doesn't have a Facebook account I hope that "Facebook does it" isn't going to be a reason to stop or start. That being said lucky Facebook rarely does something interesting or original :-)

Yeah I was hopping on at least an extension of the campaign. Would have bought one. O well in the end I think it is better that a established manufacture releases a Ubuntu phone (I hope based on the edge) than that Canonical is handling war

I'm fairly new to node.js, but having done some decent work in AS3/Flex (admittedly years ago) I'm a bit amassed that they didn't take a look how Adobe took on some of these "problems". I think it is a pity tha

I think this could be big especially in the mobile space. I can imagine that smaller ARM manufactures/designers will use this over PowerVR or there own graphics implantation. In desktop space I don't see any one willing to do that
