Kudos to John Carmack for being kind enough to help the developer get the demo working. He seems like a nice guy and it's cool that he's still very much involved with game development (and apparently rockets).

What happens when the last one leaves? Is Conde just going to run off to Elance or something? I can't even find a jobs page on Reddit. At least it's open source.

I think Instapaper's bookmarklet scrapes the page if it's behind a pay wall, very clever. Edit: To clarify, by scraping I mean if you are logged in and can see the article the bookmarkelet will grab the contents of the page.

I agree, in the video it's kind of surprising how no one notices it.

If you search for Instapaper and re-download you'll get 3.0. It seems that the updates section has a little bit of a delay.

It's great software, and definitely worth $5, but one thing concerns me. Most open source software I use requires Xcode to be installed in order to use GCC and other build tools. Does this mean you'll have to purchase Xcode 4 in order to (e

Anyone willing to post how much they're actually making from what they have out there? I get about $180 a month, but it's from Android apps, not iOS.

I don't know if it's live yet, but my concert listings site is now number one for a lot of common searches (philly concerts, philadelphia concerts). It used to be like 2 or 3 pages down below a bunch of content farms, very glad about this.

Even more level-headed when you consider that the Readability app that was rejected today was written by him along with the fact that he's an advisor for the company.

I'm sure they'll be fast to fix this, but how fast will phone manufactures be to push this out? This is definitely a real bug, a few weeks ago a text intended for my girlfriend went to my mom. After you send a text and it goes through the p
