My point is that all these companies over the years made grand proclamations until they hit the hard reality that manufacturing in space is either not feasible, not economic, not possible or too complicated. I am skeptical at this point.

This is pretty deceptive. The curb is painted white and the hydrant is not even near the street and it's not painted in a red color. I can see being in a hurry and not realizing that you can't park here. Definitely scammy.

Any thought given to the fact that every startup in the past decade that attempted in-orbit manufacturing failed or had massive trouble?

CarPlay is fine. The disconnect is that for all car related functionality, you have to break out from it to go back to the car UI.

My wife drives a Tesla and I drive newish rental cars on a reasonably frequent basis. So I have a basis for comparison. They are definitely not being beaten by larger players. At least not at this stage. Their software is top notch compar

I also worked on something nearly identical in US. It also failed with a bang. The site had a similar value proposition as the OP. $995 and off you go (we also tried other price points). At the end of the day we just couldn't get eno

I've found ChatGPT very useful for tools that I use once in a very long while (like ffmpeg) and simply don't remember all the nuances of. For example, I needed to use K6 to run a load test. It supports a million things, and it wo

I quit /r/pics long time ago because 90% of the images were political. Instead there is /r/nocontextpics/ (which is also currently in restricted mode) which is what /r/pics used to be a long time ago.

Here is some feedback. I tried Spanish, but I don't speak it at all. The AI teacher starts speaking Spanish to me and I have no idea what is being said. Not sure how I can learn anything from this.

This article reminds me of a conversation I had in 1995. We were using Astound on Windows 3.1 - a PowerPoint like product. Once Windows 95 came out, we quickly upgraded to it, but Astound didn't run well on it. So I called their tech
