Maybe it's just me, but I've yet to find a human who will confidently make up a function name that will do what I ask for and claim it is part of a standard library while that function does not exist at all. This is politician lev

Right. I should have mentioned that Germany should have decided to ramp up investments in nuclear power as well. A long time ago. My bad.

This is what happens when you are identified with your work to some degree. The work becomes you, hence criticism appears to be no longer about your work but your person. My experience is that this often happens to individuals who have a pe

I agree it's not an illusion. And I agree with your first point. At least it feels like there's much less emphasis on improving people's lives. I still believe that a product has to have some perceived positive impact on a us

Unfortunately, removing the 14.3 install and reinstalling 14.2 didn't fix it. Setting up a macOS VM would most likely not be suitable for testing, which the simulator builds are primarily for in my use case. Thanks for your suggestions

Did you install Xcode 14.3 Beta besides your prior 14.2 install?

I should have mentioned that I am aware of Apple's deprecation notice in the release notes. But the note refers to Xcode 14.3 Beta and doesn't say that Xcode 14.2 couldn't be used to build x86 Simulator builds anymore. With r

So are you saying that the scam is actually ok, because in theory Amazon would refund indefinitely into the future, which wouldn't happen, because users are not asking for a refund anyway? How does this make it ok? I'm not sure if
