I think the recently-released V Rising could be added to that list as well. Seems a great game.

I could see something like this being REALLY cool in VR. Elite Dangerous supports VR but everything is too clean. You need that layer of dirt and wobbly landings for authenticity. (Disclaimer - I've only played all of like 15 minutes o

Very cool! I love the colour scheme. Refreshing the page for more worlds reminded me - at some point someone recommended this[1] Chrome extension to me and it's been neat to have a new satellite view of earth show up every time I open

The top of my Netflix page being "these are the top shows in your country today" has been super puzzling to me. Surely any kind of recommendation alg would see that my interests align 0% with the average person in my country? A bu

(Since a recent conversation on HN) I think this is what e.g. Heroku does. Repackage AWS products that they get at a crazy discount and tweak pricing to maximise profit.

Sony phones (at least the ones I looked at and then stopped looking at once I saw their prices) seem to still have audio jacks. And amazing cameras. They seem to be great phones, the price tag is just crazy to me (as with all other flagship

May have been, but from the little I've seen/read about DW it didn't seem like it was used to create custom-to-the-nth-degree, production-ready websites that interfaced with APIs etc. I definitely could be wrong on that thoug

I think the next generation of tools like Figma (i.e. Figma 2.0) may end up being polished and able enough for a semi-technical user to visually build out a whole (bespoke, custom) website and with the click of a button publish/host it

No idea if the study streamer in the article does this, but a lot of popular streamers make it a priority to interact with their viewers - e.g. CohhCarnage, Day9, Pestily. It's a great thing to do if there is some amount of 'down

I'd maybe use this as an opportunity to prioritise moving everything over to AWS. I'm sure for some it may be an unwieldy amount of work but for others (depending on tech stack etc.) it ought to be fairly doable. In the long run i
