"Too much regulation is obviously stifling to innovation as well." I don't believe that for a second. Innovation is constantly happening.

So we need to change that. We need to make sure there is a heavy stick being used against those that decide to make these unethical decisions.

Maybe that's why it's so popular. Most people are fed up with trolling.

How does it benefit those it displaces? Automation can be great. But we need to think long and hard about what to do with those that are going to be left behind. Job retraining can help somewhat, but a person who was 10 years or so away fro

Here's the big problem: You're not wrong in that automation is mostly good. But most people who are cheering for automation, or even for overseas cost savings, are not interested in what happens next to those who lose their jobs b

Yeah, but Obama had a strong opposition in Congress, even when the Dems controlled it. It has yet to be seen, but I'm not confident that Trump will face anywhere near that much opposition.

Meh, let someone else do that. They'll just repeal the ACA wholesale, and get back to the important stuff of Benghazi and email hearings.

Same with you feeling you're right. And I cannot trust any wikileaks sources, so unless you've got something else, I don't see you backing up your argument.

I don't get this argument against "paywalled sources". Do journalists not have the right to try and get paid for their work? Do you enjoy getting paid for your work? Why aren't you working for free for me?

What if that belief is that you're fine being an LGBTQ person, and the "challenge" is from people who believe that you shouldn't exist or have the same rights as others?

You realize that these places are supposed to be breaks where people don't have to deal with others constantly saying they shouldn't exist, right? That's what the LGBTQ spaces are for, that's what the POC spaces are for,

Nobody is hiding from "scary ideas". They're hiding from the fact that other people flat out believe that they shouldn't exist.

That couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Not to mention, you're assuming that people need the job. It's the other way around. The company needs the engineers. Much more than the engineers need the jobs.

You are an edge case. There should be a workaround for you, but just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work in general.

Non-competes are worthless clauses that should never have existed in the first place. I am perfectly ok with someone ignoring that blatantly anti-employee clause.

We have hundreds of years of evidence for why we shouldn't allow pure "free markets". Also, Private Property rights would be a regulation on the "free market".

The reason people are demonizing Trump supporters is because they ran on a ticket of undoing just about all of the progress that many had fought hard for over the past eight years. LGBTQ rights are likely out the window, as is any hope at g
