So what? The NSA is harvesting data on an unprecedented scale. It might be legal but it is definitly unethical. Whether the initial reports were 100% accurate or not is irrelevant. What does matter is that this now out in the open and hopef

I can't agree with your last sentence. We've all had the profits of having banks providing liquidity (common, all that Russian money into the Cyprian economy has been great for all of Cyprus). Now that system has failed and the big guys aka

We're helping them and meeting our obligations. In what way are we punishing them? Yeah, it's not nice to lose 6.75% of what you have in savings (the 9.9% is only for those who have more than 100.000 euro in their bank account), but the alt

To quote the article: "This is why The IMF and the ECB has stepped in and bailed out the banks. Rumor has it that without the bailout Cyprus two largest banks would be bankrupt in a matter of days. A situation no economy can survive, especi

Pivotal: Horrible, abysmal tool. Hate it with a passion. No clear overview at all, UI is full of shiny colors but is messy as hell. I'm really glad we've switched to Jira[1] after fighting with pivotal for a couple of months. YMMV ofcourse

I just donated some euro's, and I truely believe those euro's will be well spend. But it feels wierd (and somehow wrong) to crowdfund someone's health. I'm not questioning watsi, they are in it for the right reasons. But is crowdfunding som

You mean the template pattern as described in GOF? Very nice nice and underused pattern, but sometimes it is better to use some event based system as mentioned in the article and sometimes it is better to just be rude and overwrite a method
