Were you on mobile or desktop browser? On my android phone submit button just goes into another row below input, maybe some other phone renders it differently. Maybe I need to change the form completely on phones.

I was playing with the color for the email field placeholder but settled with white (though some washed color would indicate that it is a placeholder text). Blinking cursor is nice idea, will try that locally.

Google will not drop Drive because it goes along with their almost web only OS, Chrome OS. And many other services are leaning on drive, +, picasa, gmail, android apps, etc...

But you can pip install any other templating language and use it in flask. jinja is just the default.
