Hey @mrbabbage! Retool customer here! Great service :) Non distributed RDBMS is a great (yet underrated) choice. Thank you for the good writeup. I was thinking you could have a much less delicate migration experience next time (some years f

What an interesting seed you are planting in my head. I have never developed anything Apple, but I use Macos every day. Am I right that this project can be extended arbitrarily using just React native knowledge in order to create more comp

I highly recommend you go for an open core model: gpl core + commercial proprietary add-ons. From direct experience, selling GPL code rarely works. And when it does, you know you're leaving a ton of money on the table (for no reason).

Isn't their own best commercial interest to get their drivers accepted into the mainline Linux kernel? Why they would just release a random distribution??

Actually it's a good advice from Tantan. Chinese dating culture is very different. I'm not sure "sexy" is going to be received well, especially if she uses a translator (which is common).

If non-newtonian mortar and bricks are too complex for robots, it's ok. We did not come up with mechanical horses, did we? We came up with automobiles. Let the robots build houses in their own radically different ways: for example, 3D
