Lawfare is not an obscure legal blog, it's a highly regarded legal publication featuring a lot of expert analysis. The fact you dismissed it as "one guy's legal blog" is a good indication you're not very adept at as

There was a lot of debate over whether Trump even could be indicted, whether Mueller would even if he had the evidence, etc., and such discussions did make it into coverage by the "mainstream media" (I am generally wary of people

What is this ice cream strawman? Dude popped off with lies and idiotic remarks routinely, was proud of an inhumane immigration policy, wanted to yank people's healthcare, cozied up to dictators, etc. It's disgusting how much some

Except it did materialize. There were indictments that arose from that investigation, and we know they were interested in acquiring Russian "dirt" on Clinton. If you expected something more dramatic or obvious, that's uninfor

If his comment initially said "Ira Glass", it would not be pedantic to point that out. Nontrivial error given that there is a famous Ira Glass lol

What areas re: "poor and marginalized" are you referring to? Seems like there are numerous focused orgs for all of the issues they work on, no?

Interesting, thanks. I feel like nobody brings up other countries when it comes to abortion, but the context seems pretty helpful (as it is for most issues, I suppose). Esp since, looking at Australia and Canada, people get on and tolerate

I had a lot of convo with that poster in another thread. I would suggest not wasting your time by engaging with him, and I say this as someone who agrees with him in certain respects.

It applies way harder and more cruelly to women as far as dating goes. A physically unattractive man with a good personality + social skills can do very well with women. Same cannot really be said of a physically unattractive woman.

I think in the case of Putin, there may be some justification on the basis that he and his supporters (including in the West) portray him as super macho, etc. On balance though, I think I agree with you.
