Lots of people saying things like, "This is not novel; come up with new ways to use this technology!" as if that's easy. Well, the brilliant thing here is, if it's so easy to come up with novel applications of new techno

If it's a known avenue of identification, one would think a state-sponsored group would have policies in place to combat that sort of fingerprinting. All of that would also be trivial to spoof/plant so as to distract from the real

I don't know if it's fair to compare a Deck to a proper full-sized console - especially things like font size being too small, which of course is likely to happen more on a handheld.

This was shared the other day and sounds exactly like what you want. Throw in Steam cloud syncing (although I'm not certain RetroArch supports that) and I imagine it's about as hassle-free as can be. Possibly even more hassle-free

Well to be fair, I have read analyses that includes operational details like, for example, when the threat actors were active lining up with working hours in China. Stuff like that is at least slightly more convincing than just an IP But of

My question is: how do they know they're from China and not some other country and just appear to be in China? It seems a good way to distract from the real source and to cause division between your adversaries.

I wouldn't bother trying to convince people who are upset that others have figured out a way to use LLMs. It's not logical.

I'm getting annoyed by using "prompt engineered" as a verb. Does this mean I'm finally old and bitter? (Do we say we software engineered something?)

I believe GP meant low volume in the context of # of submissions, not comments. However, on that note, as of writing this, the GPT 5.1 submission on the front page has 471 comments. The submission about pennies no longer being minted has 85

Lots of companies waste money too. I'd rather see universities spend it on research and studies than companies developing useless products and shutting down after a year.

It wouldn't require a conspiracy for these companies to 'invest' in security companies they have ties to. Throw in tax incentives and loopholes and whatnot and it turns out not to hurt the original company at all.

You could also skip all that noise and just force women to have kids. Thankfully most people have realized such things are insane and sexist, and don't want to see millions of more kids born to parents unable to properly care for them.
