Seems not sadly, but it would make a great gift. Lots of people will complain about how the state is getting involved in peoples lives etc so it would have been funny if we could buy them online from overseas too, thus creating a profitable

I'm surprised at the negative replies to this comment. We usually praise start ups for using bundling or other microeconmic techniques to increase revenue, but for US cable companies it's not ok (I'm not based in the US so have no idea how

Excellent point, zalew. I've looked into this too and found the issues with migrating to be too numerous to proceed. Some products like Plus seemed to have no migration path when I last checked.

To be fair, I think their actual elevation pitch is "Scalable real-time backend - Build apps fast without managing servers" as per their homepage and the pull-to-refresh quote may be more specific to the iOS SDK

I've do the the same thing for my trips and think it's great. If Google could integrate the travel guide content with the "view offline" feature in GMaps it would reduce the need for roaming too.

It is a legitimate point that there are lots of controversial commercial issues at the Olympics (e.g. petitmiam's fish and chips comment), but that should not detract from admiring the motivation and efforts of the elite athletes competing.

OP referred to "long-term debt", so I think the point is that if interest rates spike then those with fixed interest rate loans are not affected and therefore able to continue with cheap long-term debt.
