I would still like to know what kind of features are unavailable in Firefox to warrant a complete block on the browser. This would also help Firefox developers to implement them or fix the bugs. I mean I always see "Firefox does not im

I don't know if this is nostalgia talking but there is something particularly attractive about the BeOS and Haiku desktop both in terms of design and aesthetics. The interface actually has a certain depth and this is consistent across

Probably this refers only to the pre-compiled builds offered by Mozilla? The distribution packagers build Firefox from source before pushing them to the repository so it would make sense to use the default compiler for the distribution. On

I don't understand why these should be mutually exclusive. Starting from a common parseable markup you can have both responsive HTML for browsers and formatted PDF for print. Why don't decouple content from presentation?

As it's evident from NAT they can track even behind a single IPv4. As long they know your prefix the privacy extensions don't really help. Of course one could have a dynamic prefix similar to dynamic IPs residential ISPs use. It&#

I've read about this project in the past and although it definitely is interesting it's still a bit unclear to me if this is a way to use Qt through Rust or the other way around. Reading through this example it seems like you use

The official git repo of the kernel is git.kernel.org. The github one is just a mirror and it's just sad that is returned as a first result on Google.

Being cross-platform and cross-browser with close-to-native performance is the primary selling point of WebAssembly. What's the point of going that way if you are supporting the exact same platforms you were supporting before? It'

You will probably need at least Message Carbons (XEP-0280)[0] to synchronise your devices and maybe Message Archives (XEP-0313)[1] to have some kind of history available to them. However this not really tied to OMEMO itself, it's just

Not only that, but many websites tend to have very large left and right margins. One would expect that by reducing the width of the browser window the margins would be adjusted but instead the website either "won't fit" in th

I kind of like the AIP model. Articles are free for 1 month from the date they are published. I also recall AIP having an entire month of free access a couple of years ago, however I don't know if this is a regular thing (say yearly or

I never understood why people prefer abusing CSS to create icons when SVG is a much more suitable candidate for this kind of job. And in many cases they can be smaller in file size too.

I would guess residential connections are more likely to be IPv6 enabled. Corporate networks move slowly. In our organisation they actually removed IPv6, go figure!

In the organisation I work for we had IPv4/IPv6 dual stack. Due to IPv4 exhaustion my whole department was shoved behind an NAT, which given the circumstances I find it normal as there is no need for 400+ workstations to have public IP

I don't believe there is a need to completely abandon IPv4; at least for small internal networks it is probably easier -at the moment- to quickly set it up as IPv4. A properly configured IPv6 network, however, should be equally easy to
