Facinating, so basically the same as you'd pay for Netflix in the US on a monthly basis.

Ideally Facebook should just allow users to buy a subscription. I think a lot of people, at least in the western world, wouldn't mind paying say $1-2 dollars a month maybe even more, if Facebook were honest about how they use your data

Oh how I have wasted days configuring build and deployment pipelines in TeamCity. Brings back some arguably bad memories!

Having used Siundcloud a ton, i can definitely see the appeal here, especially the “we do not compress” thing! That’s really nice!

A bit of anecdotal "evidence". I bought the 2020 Ford Kuga/Escape PHEV this summer, which has been recalled because of battery issues, thus forcing me to drive with discharged battery. Even then, we frequently drive 30-50% of

I can relate to this. In hindsight the time apart was actually a net-positive for our relationship, even though we didn’t see it like that at the time.

Probably because we eat lots of Kærgården[0] and other mixed butter products. Which inicdentally is easier to spread, and melts at lower temperatures. [0] Butter mixed with vegetable oil and stabilized.

It's the same here in Denmark. We've also had a lot of failed tax related IT projects through the years though. But when i hear how tax collection is handled in the US, i can tell that we are really lucky with our system.

I have the exact same “problem” on my work PC. I want to find MS SQL Management Studio. Searching for “SQL” brings up nothing, but “manage” will match the app.

Why would you direct new comers attention to eval'esque functionality? They should stay far far away from it. Come to think of it, everyone should stay away from eval functionality!
